Day Sail and Lunch - Up to 6 people - you and your friends - will board Sowelu in Boothbay Harbor at 10:30 AM and return by 6:00 PM. Take a turn - or more! - at the helm, trim the sails, and follow our course on charts! Look for seals, dolphins and a wide variety of ocean birds as we sail past both settled and uninhabited islands. Glide past light houses and see the coast that you'll never see from shore. Enjoy a delicious lunch tailored to your tastes. Pause, if you’d like, at an inviting cove and explore tide pools or take a short hike to a stunning 360° view.
$110 per person (minimum 3), each additional person $60. Includes snacks, soft beverages, lunch and dessert. No alcohol on day trips, please.
Afternoon Cruise
- Do you want more than a 2 hour sail but don't have time for a
whole day? Want a Private Cruise? Here's your chance! Leave at 1:00 PM and sail for 3 or more hours. Timing is flexible to
meet your needs. Plenty of time for participation, sightseeing, and
photography. Be more than a passenger - get involved!! Up to 6 people in
your group. Experience one of Sowelu's gourmet snacks!
$48 per person (minimum 2) for 3 hours, each additional hour $10 per
person. Includes snack and soft beverage. No alcohol on day trips,
please`
Boat & Breakfast - More than a room with a view! Spend the night aboard SOWELU in Boothbay Harbor lulled by the gentle motion of the ocean. Dinghy transport to and from your choice of dinner restaurant. Check in time flexible with prior planning. Choice of omelet de jour, eggs & bacon, Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, or blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup. Juice, coffee, tea, granola and homemade muffins, of course! Timing is flexible with advanced notice. 7:00 PM—9:30 AM.
$140 for two people, one additional $45

Sail & Stay - Board at 10:30 AM and return in time to debark about 9:00 the next
morning. Relax, participate, plan, learn and enjoy the stunning coast of Maine.
Savor three delicious meals—lunch, dinner, and breakfast— soft beverages and
snacks included. Four light houses are within a day's sail - depending, of
course, on the wind. Spend the night aboard in a picturesque anchorage.
$350 for two people, each additional person $125. (Two additional people can
be accommodated in single berths or a pull-out double berth in main cabin.) Lobster dinner
is available at the market price for lobster.
Cruise 2 to 10 Days - Ahhhh, THIS is the life! Plan on enough time to go where you’ve always dreamed of! Unwind, tune in to the wind and the tides, and experience the rich diversity of the Maine coast. Awake each morning in a different harbor. Learn to sail or improve your skills and fully participate in all facets of cruising. Are you a visiting sailor? Sail the boat yourself with a captain/guide/cook/resource aboard who can assist with the complexities of 10+ ft. tides! A day consists of up to 7 hours underway, 3 meals, snacks, soft beverages and overnight on Sowelu. Lobster or grilled steak dinner one night if you’d like!
$330 per day for two people, each additional person $115. (Two additional people can be accommodated in single berths or a pull-out double berth in main cabin.) Lobster or steak dinner included.
